Environmental health and safety (EHS) management is shifting from regulation-driven to value-driven, from injury-prevention approach to hazard exposure-control approach, and from compartmentalized method to holistic and systematic method. The hazard-exposure-control management model entails adequately and systematically trained EHS professionals who understand the model and can apply it with a holistic approach in the decision-making process that governs safety policies, practices, standards, monitoring, and accountability. EHS professionals

with current EHS management knowledge understand how to influence various levels from the boardroom to the shop floor and to help shape a zero-tolerance culture on worker illnesses and injuries. Skilled EHS professionals can thoroughly assess exposure and risk of various hazards and help management minimize their cognitive biases to avoid accidents that happen frequently but should be prevented.  Further development of your EHS professionals is an improvement of EHS leading indicators and the delivery of incremental safety and organizational culture. I knew of CIH exam 3 years ago and prepared for it for a quite long time by myself. Unfortunately, I couldn’t pass the exam until I took Beeree’s CIH training course so that I obtained a systematic study approach and passed the CIH exam several months later after attending the training workshop.
